A pack circles you, then dives through where you stood.
A ring of small pink stars circling you at a fixed distance. Each one flashes and points its line at you just before it goes.
Never one. A pack of five to eight pink stars arrives together, takes up a ring around you, and circles for about three seconds. Then they dive, one at a time a quarter second apart. Each flashes and draws its line first, then shoots straight through the spot you were standing on at 2.4x your speed and carries on past it. A star that has dived crumbles.
You stand still to fight whatever is in front of you, and the ring you did not notice closes. Five lines through the same spot, a beat apart, and every one of them was aimed at you.
Keep moving once the ring forms. Every dive is locked to where you were when its flash started, so a steady walk makes the whole pack miss behind you.
Do not reverse into the lines. Pick a direction and hold it until the last star has gone through.
They die to anything. A spin of the right thumb around the ring while they circle can clear the pack before a single one dives.
Share of everything that spawns, at three points in a run. From 1:30 one of the four new enemies is featured each minute at 2.5x its usual share, in turn.
Speeds are multiples of yours while you are not shooting. Holding fire slows you to about two thirds of that. Health grows 16% a minute, compounding, with no cap.
